this particular gamera is drawn by matt petz, a very talented sort-of newcomer, and creator of War of the Woods. i really need to figure out how to get better details in these posts, especially where i don’t have uploaded pages. but this one is particularly interesting. it is full of ash and smoke, and amazing effect of matt’s.
his comic, War of the Woods, is an interesting retelling of h.g. wells’s classic war of the worlds. it is seen through the perspective of the forest critters. and i kind of like matt’s version better. you can (read: you should) check out matt’s stuff here: http://www.monsterislandmedia.com/
