this piece was done by kurt komoda, one of my closest friends. he did a series of them for about eight of us, mimicking the styles of, amongst others, winsor mccay, frank miller and herve.
kurt also did my little avatar, and you will see several more of his pieces, i’m sure. mostly, he frustrates me because i could have hired him a million times over for our books, but he pretty much refuses to do comics. snob.
